    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson CMR is seeking an experienced commercial pool technician in the commercial pool construction field.</p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work on pool maintenance activities on a wide range of mid-sized commercial projects (swimming pools, splash pads, fountains, spas, PVC plumbing, pool filter room work) Average project size $20,000 to $1,000,000.  </li>\n <li>Perform repairs and replacements of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Piping materials (PVC) from 1/2 inch to 12 inch diameter</li>\n   <li>Check, Gate, Ball Valves</li>\n   <li>Pumps, heaters, UV units, and chemical feed systems</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Perform routine CPO and water quality chemical testing and site inspections utilizing iPad forms.</li>\n <li>Routes material and equipment to staff and relays appropriate information about the job to staff.  </li>\n <li>Provide customer service and meet with customers to diagnose problems and perform repairs.</li>\n <li>Complete reports in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Provide recommendations for improvements in project that could be useful on future work.</li>\n <li>Advance professionally by attendance at appropriate lectures, seminars and short courses</li>\n <li>Inspecting and assessing the condition of pool equipment and water quality</li>\n <li>Testing and adjusting pool water chemical levels to ensure they meet health and safety standards</li>\n <li>Cleaning and maintaining pool filters, pumps, and other pool equipment</li>\n <li>Performing minor and major repairs on pool equipment</li>\n <li>Installing new pool equipment and systems, such as pumps, filters, heaters, and pool lights</li>\n <li>Removing debris from pool water with nets and cleaning tools</li>\n <li>Providing clients with guidance on pool maintenance tasks they can perform themselves</li>\n <li>Completing logbooks and checking it for daily tests by owner</li>\n <li>Documenting all pool maintenance and repair activities for record-keeping purposes</li>\n <li>Communicating with clients about pool conditions and the work performed</li>\n <li>Ordering supplies and equipment necessary for pool maintenance and repair</li>\n <li>Filling out I Data report</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>1-5 years of knowledge in a wide range of repair and construction activities required </li>\n <li>10-hour OSHA certification or ability to obtain </li>\n <li>CPO (Certified Pool Operator) or ability to obtain </li>\n <li>Ability to meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Positive work ethic and attitude</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepared to be available to provide 24hr service for emergency repairs on a rotating basis.</li>\n <li>Occasional travel overnight for various projects throughout New England. </li>\n <li>Work weekends and overtime occasionally </li>\n <li>Able to drive a minimum of 4 hours a day, lift a minimum of 50 pounds climb a ladder, minimum of 15 feet.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-ONSITE </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 800 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
