Working closely with research and engineering colleagues, your primary focus will be on improving and developing new biometric technologies that are delivered on time and aligned with our strategic objectives. You will report directly to the Principal Research Scientist.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do</span></p>\n<p>Working with the latest face biometric technologies, your responsibilities will include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing machine learning algorithms for face authentication solutions</li>\n<li>Researching, prototyping, and evaluating presentation attack detection and fraud prevention methods</li>\n<li>Testing and configuring face algorithms to meet performance and accuracy standards</li>\n<li>Extending and utilising existing biometric code libraries</li>\n<li>Running rigorous experiments, interpreting findings, and translating outcomes into deployable models and policies</li>\n<li>Helping to innovate and develop solutions to emerging face biometrics challenges</li>\n<li>Applying and continuously growing your expertise in AI, machine learning, and computer vision</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you have:</span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hands on experience in at least two</span> of the areas listed below.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">A proven track record</span> through project delivery, research contributions, or <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">a minimum of two years of relevant employment experience:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(1) Computer Vision &amp; Deep Learning</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong grounding in computer vision and machine learning principles</li>\n<li>Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of detection, recognition, and classical CV pipelines</li>\n<li>Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++, including version control, testing, and debugging</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(2) Data &amp; Experimental Methods</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience handling, preprocessing, and analysing large-scale datasets</li>\n<li>Familiarity with synthetic data generation or weakly/lightly supervised learning approaches</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(3) Image Recognition &amp; Matching</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with authentication, identity matching, or metric learning</li>\n<li>Knowledge of feature extraction, alignment, and embedding-based systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(4) Liveness &amp; Anti-Spoofing</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exposure to presentation attack detection, including replay, mask, or deepfake scenarios</li>\n<li>Interest or experience in adversarial robustness and anti-spoofing research</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Nice to have:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to review, interpret, and implement state-of-the-art research</li>\n<li>Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate workflow and productivity</li>\n<li>Awareness of privacy, ethics, and security considerations in biometrics</li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education</span></p>\n<p>Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>An opportunity to work in the growing world of identity verification and authentication, biometrics, telephony, and fraud</li>\n<li>The chance to be part of an established &amp; successful team of researchers and scientists</li>\n<li>Competitive compensation &amp; benefits</li>\n<li>Flexible working environment to create a very balanced work/life schedule for you and your family</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Don't meet every requirement?
