    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Breathe (Life Healing Centers)</strong> is hiring for a <strong>Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN)</strong> in <strong>West Hollywood, CA area</strong>!</p><p><strong>* Part Time position for Wednesday and Thursday day shift *</strong></p><p>The LVN/Healthcare Technician will be responsible for following guidelines and implementation, management, supervision, and evaluation of all medical aspects of the company&rsquo;s programs in accordance with the standards and procedures set out by the organization. As a member of the clinical team, the Healthcare Technician works with medical doctors, specialists, and other licensed medical personnel in providing direct resident care to adults residing in a detox/residential treatment program.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Completes Client orientation, welcomes and reviews client handbook with new clients.</li><li>Consistently completes client-related paperwork at admission and discharge.</li><li>Performs searches, deciphers contraband from authorized items; labels and stores luggage for safekeeping. Understands Client Handbook and consistently adhere to its guidelines, redirecting clients from negative behaviors.</li><li>Performs rounds on a regular basis. Oversees client use of telephones. Conducts and records urinary analyses processes and results. Client medication monitoring. Client crisis intervention/prevention. Attends in-services and trainings.</li><li>Assists with self-administration of medication policy to document and observe resident medication regimen for all residents at all levels of care.</li><li>Ensures accurate documentation on medication orders. Observes residents, charts and reports changes in residents&rsquo; conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment and taking any necessary action.</li><li>Answer residents&rsquo; questions regarding MD orders and determines how to assist them.</li><li>Measures and records patients&rsquo; vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration when required.</li><li>Maintain inventory log and requisition samples as well as instruments (drug screens, breathalyzers, etc.) and communicates when inventory is low.</li><li>Evaluates medical concerns and directs residents to emergency medical care when required.</li><li>Works as part of a health care team to assess resident&rsquo;s needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions. Reviews medication logs and consults with residents and physicians regarding refills.</li><li>Other Duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of CA.</li><li>General knowledge of twelve-step recovery programs, the disease of chemical dependency, eating disorders and Experience Recovery treatment philosophy.</li><li>CPR / First Aid certified.</li><li>Certification to administer injections and TB tests a plus.</li><li>1 year experience in a behavioral health residential treatment setting preferred.</li><li>Proficient computer skills and ability use various software programs.</li><li>Prior client transporter experience (preferred).</li><li>Ability to operate motor vehicles &amp; Have a valid driver&rsquo;s license in good standing and auto insurance.</li><li>Successfully complete drug screen and comprehensive background check.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>#GMH</p></div></div>\n",
