Description

OVERVIEW Cadrex is searching for a Process Engineer II to evaluate new and existing processes and configure manufacturing systems to reduce costs, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage large project timelines and resources Provide oversight and guidance to level I Process Engineers Identify, recommend, and implement approved methods or process improvements Identify equipment, processes and tooling needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers Develop innovative solutions Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of the production process Advise on corrective actions Ensure projects are completed on time Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Assist in price quote development and job costing reviews Maintain professional and technical knowledge Actively participate in LEAN manufacturing activities
