    "description": "<p>General Position Summary:</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8.0pt\"> </span></p>\n<p>The employee will observe and learn from POM welder/fabricators who are responsible for all fabrication and welding for the port properties which can include many different projects.<span>  </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8.0pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 10.0pt\"><span>·     </span></span>Observe POM welders develop layout and plans sequence of operations.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 10.0pt\"><span>·     </span></span>Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 10.0pt\"><span>·     </span></span>Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 10.0pt\"><span>·     </span></span>Consults Lead Welder on blueprints and sketches to execute jobs and tasks to specification.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 10.0pt\"><span>·     </span></span>Assesses equipment, structures, materials and job specifications for appropriate welding positions and methods.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 10.0pt\"><span>·     </span></span>Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on finished product.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 10.0pt\"><span>·     </span></span>Monitors equipment for appropriate usage and temperature.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 10.0pt\"><span>·     </span></span>Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 10.0pt\"><span>·     </span></span>Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as all company safety procedures.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Secondary Functions:</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8.0pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 10.0pt\"><span>·     </span></span>Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Job Scope:</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8.0pt\"> </span></p>\n<p>Job duties vary from day-to-day operation.
