This role is instrumental in guiding capital equipment lifecycle decisions, evaluating emerging technologies and supporting development and implementation of a global program to identify and replace at risk critical infrastructure assets.</p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Support the Global Tech Ops function in the implementation and management of the Global Critical Infrastructure Program.</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Partner with design consultants, construction managers, and OEM partners to ensure alignment to specifications</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Review and advise on design packages for critical infrastructure replacements.</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Validate technical solutions against global standards and operational requirements.</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">In collaboration with Regional Operations teams, provide risk assessments and recommendations for at-risk asset replacement.</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Act as a technical authority for infrastructure upgrades and critical asset approvals.</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Provide guidance on system reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle planning.</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Collaborate with Supply Chain, DC&amp;E (Design, Engineering &amp; Construction), Solutions Engineering and Portfolio Operations to ensure proper decisions around equipment selection.</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Collaborate with internal and external teams to evaluate new infrastructure technologies for feasibility and deployment.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>What you’ll need</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Facilities Engineering (or equivalent experience).</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">10+ years in data center infrastructure, critical systems, or facilities engineering and construction.</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Strong understanding of power systems, cooling technologies, and building automation.</li><li style=\"line-height:115%;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;\"><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>A bit about us</strong></p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;\">Digital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
