The Computer Information Systems Department at Atlanta%0ATechnical College is seeking a full-time instructor who has knowledge, patience%0Aand interest to work with a diverse group of students. This position is located%0Aon ATC’s (Main/South) Campus, which is just south of (Downtown%0AAtlanta/Hartsfield-Jackson Airport). The%0Aduties of the instructor include but are not limited to the following%0Aresponsibilities: %0A%0A %0A Teach courses in Cyber Security and Networking (Vendor%0A specific-Cisco) and prepare daily instructional plans and instructional%0A materials at the modular level as directed by the Dean. %0A Evaluate the progress and performance of students and assign%0A grades. Maintain records of student attendance and progress. Refer%0A students to academic and non-academic support services as appropriate. %0A Assist in student recruiting, advising and graduate placement. %0A %0A%0A Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS M.SC%0Ain Computer Science or MA with 18 graduate credit hours in Computer Information%0ASystems, at least 1 year of teaching experience preferably in Networking and Cyber%0ASecurity. Skills/Abilities: Proficient in Networking and Cyber;%0ACertifications/Licenses: CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS PhD%0Aspecializing in Cyber Security and Networking.
