Additionally, we are honored to be named one of America’s Best-In-State Hospitals by <i>Newsweek</i>, among numerous other prestigious accolades.</p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Those holding a Bachelor’s degree must be registered or eligible for registration through a nationally recognized certification agency.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be able to perform complex analyses, which require a defined network of steps and variables.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must have an in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments and their interrelationships.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be able to recognize problems, identify the cause (technical or instrumental), create alternatives and determine solutions.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must have communication skills in translating facts and ideas to a variety of persons, both within and outside the laboratory.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be responsible for own work and decisions and be able to supervise and teach others.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be able to evaluate procedures, equipment and people (peers, students and subordinates).&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be able to work independently when necessary.&nbsp; Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care in his/her assigned department.&nbsp; T</li>\n <li>he individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>The individual must interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, providing the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.</li>\n</ul>",
