    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are hiring a compassionate and experienced <strong>Patient Support Supervisor</strong> to work with our clients at The Camp Recovery Center in Scotts Valley! This is a key role whose primary goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for our adult clients who have co-occurring disorders (substance use disorder and mental health disorders). The Camp is a 74-bed treatment center providing services to adults on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PURPOSE STATEMENT:</strong></p>\n<p>Direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of a patient support team.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<p>· Provide medical or therapeutic care, direct and indirect diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to patients, following the instructions of physicians or other health practitioners.</p>\n<p>· Coordinate the work and activities of assigned staff, including setting performance expectations in the day-to-day operations of the unit.</p>\n<p>· Provide guidance and direction to staff and encourage/build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members.</p>\n<p>· Assist patients with their daily living activities and administer basic health care or treatments.</p>\n<p>· Participate in therapeutic or recreational group.</p>\n<p>· Oversee admitting and discharging.</p>\n<p>· Monitor physical and emotional well-being of patients and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff. Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.</p>\n<p>· Observe and influence the behavior of the patients by communicating, interacting with them, teaching and counseling.</p>\n<p>· Encourage patients to participate in social, recreational, or other therapeutic activities that enhance interpersonal skills or develop social relationships and teach strategies to promote patient wellness and independence.</p>\n<p>· Lead or co-lead individual or group sessions as part of specific recreational or therapeutic procedures.</p>\n<p>· Collaborate with other staff in working with the population of the facility to treat, rehabilitate and return patients to the community.</p>\n<p>· May provide transportation for patients as needed.</p>\n<p>· Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<p>· High School diploma or equivalent required.</p>\n<p>· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in human service field from an accredited college or university preferred.</p>\n<p>· Two or more years’ experience with the population of the facility in a patient support role required.</p>\n<p>· One or more years’ experience as a lead or previous supervisory experience required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<p>· CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).</p>\n<p>· First aid may be required based on state or facility.</p>\n<p>· May require a valid state driver's in facilities where transporting patients is an essential function.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>COMPENSATION:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Compensation for roles at <strong>THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER</strong> varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, <strong>THE</strong> <strong>CAMP RECOVERY CENTER</strong> provides a reasonable salary range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Role Location : CALIFORNIA</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Calculated Salary Range for role Patient Support Supervisor </strong></p>\n<p><strong>State – California:</strong> $65,000.00 - $71,000.00 yearly</p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS: For Full Time Staff </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Camp Recovery Center </strong>provides a comprehensive package of benefits for our <strong>Full Time Patient Support Supervisor</strong>.
