We are a proud member of the Co-operative Retailing System, a vast network of 160 retail Co-ops across western Canada.</span></p><p><span><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></span></p><p><span>Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of <strong>Assistant Gas Bar Manager at our Dakota Gas Bar located at 830 Dakota Street, in Winnipeg, MB.&nbsp;</strong>This position reports to the Gas Bar Manager. The Assistant Gas Bar Manager adds value to our Co-operative by assisting in day-to-day operations of the gas bar.</span></p><p><span>Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:</span></p><ul><li><span>Develop and promote a strong culture of engagement within the store.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Support the Gas Bar Manager in daily operations of the Gas Bar.</span></li><li><span>Lead your team to provide world class customer service.</span></li><li><span>Do your part in helping to achieve financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses and profits.</span></li><li><span>Ensure shift to shift standards of the Gas Bar are met, including cleanliness and sanitation, safety standards, inventory control, rotation, ordering and commitment buys.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to work evenings and weekends.</span></li></ul><p><span>A full responsibility list will be provided to candidates selected for interviews.</span></p><p><span><strong>About You:</strong></span></p><p><span>To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:</span></p><ul><li><span>Previous experience in a retail supervisory role</span></li><li><span>Thorough knowledge of retail operations</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication</span></li><li><span>Excellent interpersonal skills</span></li></ul><p><i><span>Red River Co-op welcomes applications from people with disabilities.
