We offer <u>competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs</u> to support you and your family.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Produces and details routine drawings/layouts of components, facilities and/or systems;</li>\n <li>Generates and/or modifies computer-aided design (CAD) drawings of moderate complexity based on information from others; </li>\n <li>Use industry codes, standards, and customer specifications to prepare work plans, drawings and layouts; </li>\n <li>Works with engineering team to ensure drawing quality; </li>\n <li>Develops CAD drawings and design models under the direction of a senior designer;</li>\n <li>Performs calculations in support of technical problems;</li>\n <li>Produces work in accordance with budget and schedule constraints; </li>\n <li>Understands fabrication, construction, operation, and maintenance requirements relevant to designated discipline; </li>\n <li>Works independently and as part of a team; and </li>\n <li>Participation in process improvement activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 3 years (3-5 years preferred) of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)</li>\n <li>Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance. (required)</li>\n <li>Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. (required)</li>\n <li>Ability to apply engineering design principles to design and fabrication of components and assemblies as directed.</li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please note that marijuana remains a Schedule III controlled substance under Federal Law. Federal contractors must follow Federal drug-free workplace rules, which prohibit marijuana use, even if medical or recreational use is permitted under State Law.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & LOCATION DETAILS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current or prior DOE Q Clearance,</li>\n <li>Previous experience on DOE sites and programs.</li>\n <li>Los Alamos National Lab</li>\n <li>4/10 schedule. </li>\n <li>Onsite Position.</li>\n</ul>",
