    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div><div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px;\"><p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><strong>Job Title</strong>:&nbsp; CMM Programmer&nbsp;</p></div><div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px;\"><p><span><strong>Job Summary:&nbsp; </strong>The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing and executing measurement programs using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the dimensional accuracy of CNC-machined automotive chassis components.</span></p><p><span><strong>Responsibility:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Create, modify, and optimize CMM programs using software such as Calypso (Zeiss) and MCOSMOS (Mitutoyo).</span></li><li><span>Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot CMM equipment.</span></li><li><span>Follow automotive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) procedures.</span></li><li><span>Interpret engineering drawings, GD&amp;T, and CAD models to develop accurate measurement routines.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with engineers to resolve dimensional layouts and improve manufacturing processes.</span></li><li><span>Assist in departmental training.</span></li><li><span>Perform capabilities studies, gauge repeatability and reproducibility along with providing statistical reports reflecting process control, process capability and gauge repeatability.</span></li><li><span>Develop CMM work instructions.</span></li><li><span>Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards and other required certifications.</span></li><li><span>Travel to multiple local plants is required.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Academic/Educational Requirements</strong></span></p><p><span>High school diploma or equivalent required.</span></p><p><span>Associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.</span></p><p><span><strong>Required Skills/Experience</strong></span></p><p><span>2+ Years proven experience as a CMM Programmer, with specific expertise in Zeiss and Mitutoyo CMM machines, in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.</span></p><p><span>Strong understanding of GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).</span></p><p><span>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.</span></p><p><span>Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.</span></p><p><span>Strong communication skills.</span></p><p><span>Ability to work independently (self-directed) and in a team-oriented environment.</span></p><div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px;\"><p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><strong>What Linamar Has to Offer:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p></div><div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px;\"><ul><li>Competitive Compensation &nbsp;</li><li>Employee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Drug, Dental &amp; Vision etc.  &nbsp;</li><li>401k Program &nbsp;</li><li>Opportunities for career advancement. &nbsp;</li><li>Sustainability Council&nbsp;</li><li>Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.  &nbsp;</li><li>Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.  &nbsp;</li></ul><div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px;\"><p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><strong>About Us:&nbsp;</strong></p></div><div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px;\"><p style=\"margin-left:-2px;\">Linamar Corporation is a Canadian-founded global manufacturer, renowned for its advanced engineering and innovative product development across diverse industries and markets.
