We take work very seriously, but we also enjoy a great atmosphere of fun and professional development, and we are committed to promoting a rich environment for each other to thrive through collaboration and empowerment.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>&nbsp;The Staff Nurse renders professional nursing care at the residential site pursuant to the objectives and policies of the facility. Must possess excellent assessment skills, self-confidence and be assertive in advocating for good patient care in working independently as a nurse. Must be highly organized and prioritize all nursing tasks and procedures in a shift. Education of patients and staff is a vital component of this position. Some on-call work is required.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">This position is full time and is performed at the Clinic site Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. &nbsp;Also open to shifts: Full Time, Part Time or PRN</span></p><p>Your key responsibilities will include:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Performs nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of the patient.&nbsp;</li><li>Supervises, administers, assists with, and delegates the distribution of medications.</li><li>Takes vital signs and monitors the medical progress of patients. &nbsp;Completes documentation and reporting.</li><li>Follows physician&#39;s orders and individual nursing care plans, including assisting patients with daily routines, catheter irrigating and assisting with respiratory treatments.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides emergency first-aid for patients and staff if needed. Administers TB tests and Hepatitis B vaccines for staff. &nbsp;</li><li>Teaches, monitors, administers and documents individual patient programs including ADL&#39;s (as outlined on the Needs and Services Plans) and therapeutic home programs in English. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Performs toilet and chair transfers with assistance for patients up to 150 pounds utilizing approved transfer techniques.&nbsp;<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\" style=\"border: 0px; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: 14px; line-height: inherit; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-optical-sizing: inherit; font-size-adjust: inherit; font-kerning: inherit; font-feature-settings: inherit; font-variation-settings: inherit; font-language-override: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; color: black;\">Provides for the safety of patients, visitors, staff and self when interacting with patients who may have behavioral outbursts, which can include yelling, exiting, hitting, kicking, biting, spitting, scratching, and throwing objects.</span></p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><br></span><p style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"border: 0px; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: 14px; line-height: inherit; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-optical-sizing: inherit; font-size-adjust: inherit; font-kerning: inherit; font-feature-settings: inherit; font-variation-settings: inherit; font-language-override: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; color: black;\">a. Physical intervention and restraints can include calling for help, lifting, standing, walking, running, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, carrying, pulling, pushing and assisting with the restraint of patients weighing up to 150 pounds or more.</span></p></li><li>May transport patients in company-owned or personal vehicle when company transportation vehicles are unavailable requiring transferring and driving abilities.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Successful candidates will have:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Passion for Care</strong>: A deep understanding of the requirements for providing the type of care and supervision needed, including the ability to communicate effectively with them.</li><li><strong>Leadership Skills</strong>: The ability to recruit, employ, train, and evaluate qualified staff, and to make tough decisions when necessary.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience and Education</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Educational Background</strong>: Current licensure by State Board of Nursing. Experience in skilled nursing and rehabilitation concepts preferred.
