This role focuses on design development, documentation, and client coordination, working collaboratively with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure project goals are met. The Interior Designer II is expected to interact confidently with clients, manage project responsibilities with growing autonomy, and contribute to the firm’s culture of learning and design quality. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects in different phases simultaneously, adapt to shifting priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining design quality and client service.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Principal Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Design Development</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and refine interior design concepts that align with client goals, program requirements, and aesthetic vision.</li>\n<li>Select and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, and equipment with attention to function, budget, and design intent.</li>\n<li>Prepare clear, compelling design presentations for client review and approval.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project &amp; Client Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Independently manage small interior design projects or lead components of larger projects.</li>\n<li>Track project schedules and budgets to support timely, cost-effective delivery.</li>\n<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for interior design–related client communication.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors to maintain design integrity through implementation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation &amp; Implementation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce comprehensive construction documents and specifications.</li>\n<li>Participate in site visits and coordinate with the project team during construction to ensure design intent is executed.</li>\n<li>Review submittals and respond to design-related questions during construction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Professional Growth</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay informed on interior design trends, materials, codes, and industry standards.</li>\n<li>Participate in firmwide professional development and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CIDA-accredited program</span>.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">5+ years of professional interior design experience</span>.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NCIDQ and/or LID certification preferred</span>.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Revit and Adobe Creative Suite</span>.</li>\n<li>Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to lead work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates ability to multitask effectively, manage competing deadlines, and remain nimble in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment.</li>\n<li>Consistently demonstrates and upholds ADG Blatt’s core values.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why ADG Blatt?</span></p>\n<p>At ADG Blatt, interior designers are integral to shaping environments that support learning, healing, community, and connection.
