This role demands practical oversight, quick responsiveness, and constant alignment with operational realities across shifts, departments, and job sites.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct routine inspections and hazard spot checks</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead daily toolbox talks and briefings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Verify use and condition of safety gear and PPE</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with team leads to ensure task-specific safety</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain logs of incidents, near misses, and resolutions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Implement corrective actions post-audits or field reports</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Diploma or degree in Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Environmental Science, or related field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Skilled in hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety audits</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Able to deliver clear safety instructions, reports, and incident briefings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proficient in incident root cause analysis and reporting</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A degree in safety management or a related field is often preferred.
