    "description": "<h2>About JerseySTEM</h2>\n<p><strong>All JerseySTEM roles are pro-bono (unpaid) positions.</strong>JerseySTEM is a mission-driven professional network of pro-bono contributors dedicated to improving access to STEM education and career pathways for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey.</p>\n<p>Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization’s gender-equity agenda.Membership is a <strong>minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week </strong>and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>This is a pro-bono volunteer position.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>JerseySTEM provides free after school STEM classes to underserved middle school girls grade 5-8. Funding for these classes and other programs is largely derived from donations from Corporate sponsors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Corporate Partnership Success Team Lead d directs a team of 3-5 volunteers whose primary responsibility is the cultivation of long term relationships with Corporate Sponsors starting at the time of the Sponsor ’s initial donation. Additional responsibilities include public relations and editorial content development to support sponsor-specific and non sponsor activities, and recording financial and non-financial donations in SalesForce.com </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Report   to the DEVT Department head and Board Members to ensure CPS is staffed appropriately to discharge its responsibilities during each school year;</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interact with peer department heads </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>With DEVT (Corporate Partnerships Development) to onboard and then service Corporate Sponsors</li>\n  <li>With COME (Community Engagement) to ensure the successful planning and implementation of onsite events at middle schools (STEMTalks), etc.</li>\n  <li>With HUCA to hire new/replacements</li>\n  <li>With MKTG for the production and publication of Corporate Sponsor related social media and website postings, photography and videography, pr materials, editorial content, and the creation/production of other communications materials related to Corporate Sponsor support.</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Lead weekly virtual CPS team meeting (Wednesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm EST)</li>\n <li>Monthly Leadership Meeting (Optional)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap</li>\n <li>Ability to establish and maintain connections with area schools</li>\n <li>Resourceful, can-do attitude</li>\n <li>Experience with K-12 schools as a parent, former student professionally</li>\n <li>Outreach experience preferred-</li>\n <li>Experience with community outreach, relationship development,  Not shy on phone or email.</li>\n <li>Comfort working in a ‘virtual organization’ with digital tools (G-Suite, Slack, Jira, salesforce)</li>\n <li>Would be a plus if candidate has flexible schedule to allow for day time calls with the school admins during the work week</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position is remote</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
