Demonstrate safe work practices.</li>\n<li>Maintain exemplary standard of housekeeping at all times, safe work, incident/accident reporting &amp; active involvement in safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.</li>\n<li>Abide by and proactively comply with Company policies, procedures, guidelines, and systems, as well as all relevant legislation.</li>\n<li>Understand and familiarise oneself with site Emergency evacuation procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Company / Leadership</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Display conduct which is aligned with company Core Values, Policies and Procedures.</li>\n<li>Lead by example and actively participate to achieve department and company goals and objectives.</li>\n<li>Initiate and provide input into company directives in collaboration with the Site Management team.</li>\n<li>Communicate department obligations and conditions to the leadership team, ensuring specific understanding and accountability</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Behaviour / Attitude</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support and follow all lawful instructions/directives from direct supervisor.</li>\n<li>Maintain a high level of professionalism and take responsibility for own conduct and behaviour in the workplace.</li>\n<li>Ensure good, clear lines of communication between all stakeholders, including the Site Management team, co-workers, and contractors</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Technical &amp; Role Accountabilities</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure proper procedures and policies are utilized pertaining to Heavy Equipment repairs and shop conduct.</li>\n<li>Trouble-shoot and perform diagnostic testing to identify problems utilizing hydraulic and electrical schematics to determine corrective measures.</li>\n<li>Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks thoroughly and completely at required intervals.</li>\n<li> Identify future required work through preventative maintenance processes</li>\n<li>Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.</li>\n<li>Mentor apprentices at all stages through their apprenticeships</li>\n<li>Assist new employees until familiar with the equipment and surroundings</li>\n<li>Provide information for repairs such as proper part names, part numbers, quantities, estimated time frames</li>\n<li>Order and install replacement parts as required</li>\n<li>Properly charge out parts out of inventory when removing stock</li>\n<li>Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer and/or site specifications.</li>\n<li>Complete and sign off on required paperwork, ensuring thoroughness and legibility (i.e., 5-point cards, line-up, PM sheets, work order reports, etc.)</li>\n<li>Ensure samples required during equipment services are properly taken</li>\n<li>Control contamination before, during and after work has been completed, ensuring a clean work environment</li>\n<li>Address spills when they happen and comply with reporting protocols</li>\n<li>Provide information for repairs such as proper part names, part numbers, quantities, estimated time frames</li>\n<li>Provide input into possible equipment improvements both to save cost and maintenance downtime</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Teamwork</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals – both within own department and site wide</li>\n<li>Leverage off and use the talent and knowledge within the team to resolve problems</li>\n<li>Share gained experience and knowledge of work in progress</li>\n<li>Attend and participate constructively in daily line-ups, safety meetings</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Planning &amp; Organisation</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prioritise and complete tasks accurately to specifications as assigned by direct supervisor within expected timeframes.</li>\n<li>Proactively identifies and addresses hazards before they arise as issues.</li>\n<li>Be punctual to work and all required site meetings.</li>\n<li>Undertake other duties as lawfully instructed</li>\n</ul>",
