This is accomplished through collaboration with Engineers, the Sales Team, and other related departments.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities not limited to:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Estimating</strong></p><ul><li>Review blueprints and make decisions on product that meets project specifications, code requirements, and any special project criteria</li><li>Use established pricing schedules to prepare and accurately generate proposals that comply with plans, specifications, and any special project criteria provided by the Sales Reps</li><li>Use discretion with respect to product selection to achieve customer specifications and achieving the company’s profitability</li><li>Accurately communicate to the customer the scope of the proposal and any special deviations as it relates to the plans and specifications through generation of a scope document</li><li>Prepare and submit the final proposal to the customer for each project using VMC’s products or services within stated timeframes</li></ul><p><strong>Sales Support</strong></p><ul><li>Communicate effectively with the relevant departments to achieve objectives, which involves use of in-depth product knowledge and product application experience</li><li>Escalate customer concerns effectively</li><li>Accurately maintain the key project information and total scope of work in all sales proposal templates, sales estimating tools, and sales quote log</li><li>Develop and accurately maintain all data in required sales trackers</li><li>Support customer sales through service, education, and effective problem-solving</li><li>Support strategic sales plan</li></ul>",
