Designed as both a gathering place for the local community and a destination for travelers, Auster blends modern comfort with a deep respect for the area’s landscapes and traditions.</p><p></p><p>The newest addition to AMB West, Auster will include 20 cabins designed for year-round stays, ranging from one- to three-bedroom layouts. The main lodge anchors the site and will serve as the hub for connection, dining, and relaxation, complemented by a casual restaurant and bar featuring a rooftop deck, a retail market, a pool, a drive-thru coffee stand, and inviting outdoor gathering spaces.</p><p></p><p>Additionally, guests will have access to Rising Sun Golf Course, an 18-hole Johnny Miller-designed championship-level course located at Mountain Sky Guest Ranch.</p><p></p><p>Just a 20-minute drive from Yellowstone National Park, Auster’s riverfront location sits on over 6,000 acres, offering a blend of unspoiled terrain and thoughtfully designed experiences, ensuring visitors can enjoy the outdoors while preserving its natural beauty. Guests will have access to a variety of activities across the property, including guided hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife as well as whitewater rafting and guided fishing trips through local business partnerships. The Gallatin National Forest, Yellowstone National Park, the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountains, the Crazy Mountains, the Bridger Mountains, and the Gallatin Canyon area all provide excellent opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, and camping. Big Creek and the mighty Yellowstone River offer fishing, rafting, and kayaking opportunities. Livingston is a 45-minute drive and offers a quaint downtown with great restaurants and a vibrant artistic community. Bozeman is an hour drive and is home to Montana State University and the Museum of the Rockies, as well as a great variety of coffee shops, stores, restaurants, and bars. Local haunts like the Pine Creek Lodge, The Old Saloon in Emigrant, and Chico Hot Springs are always staff favorites, and feature live music and great food without the long drive.</p><p></p><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><p></p>As a Reservations &amp; Retail Assistant at Auster, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for guests throughout their experience — from initial inquiries and trip planning to on-property support during their stay. This hybrid role blends hospitality, guest service, reservations, and retail operations, helping ensure a seamless and welcoming experience across the property. This position supports both the front desk/reservations team and retail operations, stepping in to assist with daily oversight when managers are not on property.
