Will also be able to perform the essential job functions listed below.&nbsp;</span></p><p><strong><span style='font-size:13px;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;'>Essential Job Functions:&nbsp;</span></strong></p>Under general supervision, builds, validates, installs, maintains and repairs HORIBA&rsquo;s Process Instruments brand of Raman equipment; assists with&nbsp;<p>Customer support; maintains in-house repair and testing facilities.</p><ol><li>Installs, repairs, and maintains HORIBA&rsquo;s Process Instruments Raman products at customer sites and performs in-house repairs of equipment.</li><li>Maintains in-house repair facilities, incl. calibration, repair, and maintenance of Raman spectroscopy analyzers, maintaining test equip.</li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(65, 65, 65); font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; display: inline !important; float: none;\" id=\"isPasted\">P</span>rovides technical assistance to customers and HORIBA&rsquo;s Process Instruments depts, including parts and technical question research, and assisting with Requests for Quotations.</li><li>Assists with the construction and validation of products, including wiring analyzer boxes, setting up computers, and wiring I/O and AC circuits.</li><li>Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance tests) with the customer before shipping.</li><li>Prepare Field Svc Reports for customer invoicing, warranty, labor, and materials charges.</li><li>Create and modify electrical schematics and panel layout drawings using AutoCAD.</li><li>Interpret technical specifications and translate them into electrical control designs.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure drawing accuracy for production and field use.<strong><span style='font-size:13px;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;color:windowtext;'><br></span></strong></li></ol><p><strong><span style='font-size:13px;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;color:windowtext;'>Skills/Experience Required:&nbsp;</span></strong></p><ol><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a technical area such as an Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering degree or equivalent.</li><li>Able to demonstrate knowledge of electronics repair, ability to troubleshoot to component level and electronic test equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of analyzers typically found in refineries or chemical plants. Theory of operation, set-up, calibration, repair, diagnosing faults, etc.</li><li>Basic knowledge of computer programming, Microsoft products and MATLAB.</li><li>Background knowledge of spectroscopy and its principles is a plus. The position also includes responsibilities for generating and updating AutoCAD drawings.</li><li>The position often requires work beyond a normal workday or workweek.</li><li>Must be able to travel, both domestically and internationally.
