Experience streamlining accounting processes and having an investigative mindset will be critical to being successful in this role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation</li><li>Prepare monthly reconciliations for accounts and work with accounting and operations teams to resolve discrepancies</li><li>Collaborate with Operations to carry out cycle count process of supply inventory and remnant inventory</li><li>Responsible for recording fixed asset acquisitions, disposals and calculation of depreciation &amp; amortization each month along with CIP projects for capital expenditures</li><li>Allocate intercompany costs across business units for timely invoicing and payment</li><li>Reconciliation of WIP and close projects in Epicor ERP system based on completion status updates from Operations</li><li>Update accounts receivable tracking, account status updates, and assist with collections when necessary</li><li>Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process to ensure timely delivery of financials</li><li>Validate costs of goods sold by project and recognize revenue in ERP system based on ETC/EAC progress reconciling to monthly percent of completion schedule according to ASC 606</li><li>Update right-of-use asset and lease liability schedules for lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842</li><li>Collaborate with IT, Purchasing, Operations, Planning, Contracts, etc. to tackle emerging issues and transactions for proper accounting in ERP system</li><li>Assist the Controller with implementation and monitoring of internal controls for continual improvement and to support audit readiness and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements</li><li>Collaborate with the broader Finance team to improve cost tracking by department</li><li>Provide support for ad-hoc requests and broaden company initiatives as needed</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>",
