You’ll work closely with the Site Supervisor to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support daily site responsibilities and program flow</li>\n <li>Develop weekly/monthly activity plans aligned with educational and licensing standards.</li>\n <li><p>Collect accounts receivable balance and help maintain accurate family accounts.</p></li>\n <li><p>Be prompt and dependable to work scheduled hours.</p></li>\n <li>Assist with supervision and scheduling of site staff, ensuring proper ratios</li>\n <li><p>Communicate equipment and supply needs</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure a safe, engaging environment that meets or exceeds all YMCA and state guidelines</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in maintaining accurate attendance, financial, and sign-in/sign-out records and follow up on absent children.</p></li>\n <li>Assist in maintaining all aspects of paperwork required at the site.</li>\n <li>Communicate important program issues and information to supervisor(s), as well as site staff.</li>\n <li><p>Step into the Site Supervisor role when needed</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors or Associates degree, either in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or Psychology <strong>or</strong> sufficient college coursework/credits <strong>or</strong> six-months to one-year experience to meet state licensing requirements for Director Approval at the appropriate level for site size.</li>\n <li>Have the qualifications for a qualified director in the State of Kansas, holding a license for the capacity of the program.</li>\n <li>Requires an understanding and application of principles of quality school-age development and programming.</li>\n <li>Public relations and leadership skills in working with program parents, principal and staff in school, state licensing representatives and site staff.</li>\n <li>Sensitivity to clientele and staff representing a variety of family, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.</li>\n <li>Active involvement with and supervision of children requiring physical stamina, alertness and emotional stability.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with others in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Commitment and desire to provide quality child care services at all levels.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of state licensing standards and commitment to adhere to said standards.</li>\n</ul>",
