    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>General Summary</strong></p><p>The Mortgage Closer is responsible for validating the underwriting conditions and terms of the loan are met and prepares all loan closing documents in compliance with applicable loan programs, guidelines, and regulations. The Mortgage Loan Closer is also responsible for preparing and providing the closing disclosure to the customer within the regulatory time frame.&nbsp;</p><p>This is not a remote position. It requires collaborative office work in Muscle Shoals, AL 40 hours a week.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ensures all fees are accurate and provides the closing disclosure to the customer within the regulatory time frame;</li><li>Works closely with the closing agent to ensure the closing disclosure reflects accurate, final fees;&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures all underwriting conditions and terms of the loan are satisfactorily met prior to releasing closing documents;&nbsp;</li><li>Reviews closing details to ensure compliance with all agency, investor, PMI guidelines, as well and state and federal regulations;</li><li>Ensures the accuracy and completeness of all required documents according to the underwriting approval and individual loan type;</li><li>Prepares the loan closing package and legal documents for execution at closing and provides loan documents to the closing agent in a timely manner;</li><li>Effectively communicates any closing requirements to the appropriate resource(s) as needed;</li><li>Audits closing disclosures and/or closing packages prepared by other Mortgage Closers;</li><li>Completes disbursements and issues funds to all parties in the transaction;&nbsp;</li><li>Performs duties of a processor or post-closer as volume demands;</li><li>Cross-trains to perform other Mortgage Operational duties as needed;</li><li>Stays abreast of any government, industry, agency, institution, or department changes with respect to policies, procedures, programs, and documentation requirements;</li><li>Maintains a working knowledge of all loan products and necessary documents required for each loan program</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul type=\"circle\"><li>Generally good, with little exposure to noise, extreme temperatures, or other adverse factors.&nbsp;</li><li>High pressure at times to achieve objectives, to work efficiently and accurately, and juggle numerous competing priorities.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Level of Preparation and Training</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma required;</li><li>Previous work experience in the mortgage, real estate closing department, or financial services is highly preferred;</li><li>Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations highly preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Required Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism with a focus on the customer experience;&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;</li><li>Excellent time management skills;</li><li>Strong attention to detail;&nbsp;</li><li>Strong analytical and mathematical skills;</li><li>Strong organizational skills for efficiently completing tasks in a time sensitive environment;</li><li>Ability to manage a high volume of work and effectively manage numerous competing priorities;&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality;&nbsp;</li><li>Possess a good working knowledge of basic computer programs with the ability to learn new programs quickly;</li><li>Be flexible and adaptable to meet the demands and remain competitive in an ever changing industry.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><em>Team members are required to perform other duties as assigned by management that may not be listed.
