Our competitive, performance-based culture is the foundation of our success.</p>\n<h3>Position Summary</h3>\n<p>The <strong>Transport Driver</strong> is responsible for safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading heavy equipment using a tractor-trailer rig. Deliveries and pickups are performed at customer sites, Quinn Company facilities, and supplier locations. The driver must operate equipment safely, comply with all regulations, and provide excellent customer service.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2><p>Wages</p></h2>\n<p>The Transport Driver's starting wage will depend on experience and education. $25.00 - $30.00</p>\n<h2><p>Responsibilities</p></h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a valid <strong>California Class A Driver’s License</strong>, acceptable driving record, and current <strong>DMV Medical Certificate</strong></li>\n <li>Properly operate company vehicles in compliance with all <strong>DMV and DOT regulations</strong></li>\n <li>Participate in the <strong>U.S. Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing program</strong></li>\n <li>Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections</li>\n <li>Conduct daily routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs as skill and time allow</li>\n <li>Operate various types of equipment to load, secure, transport, and unload equipment safely</li>\n <li>Use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and cranes</li>\n <li>Demonstrate basic equipment operation to customers when required</li>\n <li>Use road maps and routing tools for efficient and timely transportation</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate documentation including permits, bills of lading, invoices, and delivery records</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logbooks</li>\n <li>Work a flexible schedule to meet company and customer needs</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2><p>Qualifications</p></h2>\n<p></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required</li>\n <li>One year of related driving experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li>\n <li>Valid <strong>California Class A Driver’s License</strong></li>\n <li>Valid DMV Medical Certificate</li>\n <li>Forklift operator certification preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Physical Demands</h3>\n<p>The physical demands described below represent those required to successfully perform the essential duties of this position.
