Legacy Good Samaritan features nationally renowned doctors in cancer care, kidney transplantations, neurology, ophthalmology, weight-loss surgery, robotic surgery, rehabilitation and more, plus Oregon’s only 24-hour urgent care that’s located alongside an emergency room, with access to emergency care if</p>\n<p>needed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Research Student works as a contributing member of a research team in an established laboratory of a Principal Investigator (PI).  Supervision of this position could be directly by the PI, other researcher including a staff scientist, postdoctoral fellow or other key personnel.  The Research Student position is offered to provide hands-on experience in a variety of research areas that might include organizing surveys, collecting and managing data, basic neuroscience laboratory skills (<em>e.g.,</em> neuroanatomic, neuropharmacologic, molecular biological, neurophysiologic, biochemical, image analysis, literature search/reading and/or assisting on different research projects), clinical, or biomechanical engineering.  Responsibilities will vary depending on the focus of the research laboratory or nature of the research project.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<p>Current enrolment in an undergraduate or graduate program required.  Completed coursework on the research project topic is preferred.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>Professional experience is not required.
