Begin a career as part of our team, utilizing your skills and abilities to change the life of a Job Corps student.</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Position name: CTT Substitute Instructor</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Facility name: San Diego Job Corps Center</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Location: San Diego, CA&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Work schedule:</strong>&nbsp;As needed, Monday - Friday</p>\n<p><strong>Job responsibilities:</strong> Instructors are responsible for the career technical instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their academic goals.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Essential functions:</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ol>\n <li>Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.</li>\n <li>Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/ or instruction.</li>\n <li>Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.</li>\n <li>Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.</li>\n <li>Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.&nbsp;</li>\n</ol>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements:</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required and/or substitute teaching certification, as required by the state of employment (or be able to obtain certification within 90 days of hire) or</li>\n <li>One (1) years of work related experience in the designated career training area.</li>\n <li>A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why:</strong> Make a positive impact in your community by doing meaningful work that results in a rewarding career.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Management &amp; Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
