Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Logistics Specialist will work onsite at the Pentagon, as needed, supporting the Army G-4's G-44 Materiel Management Major End Items Division responsible for policies, publications, and processes related to Class VII (major end items) supply management to include existence and completeness efforts of general equipment for financial reporting and property accountability. The  Logistics Specialist must be prepared to work onsite Monday-Friday to support day-to-day operations and high-level governance forums. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Logistics Specialist should possess general knowledge and experience with DoW logistics and supply chain management. The candidate must be adept at researching complex supply chain and audit issues, analyzing supporting data, and be comfortable with facilitating meetings with opposing viewpoints across a variety of DoW and Army stakeholders across the audit domain. The candidate must be able to work autonomously, set high standards for personal performance, have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented and process driven, and able to work with minimal guidance. Position requires a DoW Secret.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide analytical and technical support for Army audit readiness efforts for Class VII (major end items).</li>\n <li>Provide policy analysis and compliance review to achieve and maintain enterprise-level visibility of Army major equipment and general property assets from initial receipt through disposal to meet the congressionally mandated requirements for existence and completeness. </li>\n <li>Analyze systemic issues with Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) capital asset reports to identify transactional errors and recommend Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-wide solutions.</li>\n <li>Provide recommendations for a path forward and build consensus across key stakeholders and synchronize corrective action plans (CAPs) to resolve issues identified by client related to Class VII (major end items) across the Army.</li>\n <li>Develop validation processes to measure effectiveness of training, policy, and ERP system changes aimed at improving capital asset accountability. Provide analysis to determine if there is a lack of compliance to Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) or Army policy. Identify second and third order impacts including, but not limited to, fiscal, contractual or materiel impacts. </li>\n <li>Participate in Army working groups to revise and develop process maps including, but not limited to, the equipping, redistribution, and divestiture (disposal) of Army equipment. </li>\n <li>Assist in the development of strategic messaging consisting of, but not limited to, Army fragmentary orders (FRAGO), execution orders (EXORD), Exceptions to Policy (ETP), and annexes, required to achieve a clean audit opinion. </li>\n <li>Provide analysis, recommendations, and develop briefs to synchronize enterprise stakeholders to support audit readiness efforts for the transparency, redistribution, and divestiture (disposal) of equipment at various forums. </li>\n <li>Participate in OSW working groups, as required, to coordinate with OSW and the Services on GE, government furnished property, and A2R policies and procedures that impact asset visibility and audit readiness.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or similiar discipline.</li>\n <li>10 plus years' experience in DoW logistics and supply chain management.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the Army logistics and equipment domain.</li>\n <li>Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of a variety of DoW and Army property systems of record such as, but not limited to, AESIP, Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army), Program Optimization & Budget Execution (cPROBE), Vantage, and FMSWeb.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.</li>\n <li>Superior communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to write, edit, and proofread a variety of presentations, position papers, and memoranda. </li>\n <li>High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with General Officers and Senior Executive Service civilians. </li>\n <li>Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment. Comfortable facilitating meetings with opposing viewpoints.  </li>\n <li>Self-directed, detail oriented, process driven in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.</li>\n <li>Availability for occasional travel.</li>\n <li>DoW Secret clearance required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree (Supply Chain Management or Logistics) preferred</li>\n <li>Prior DoW experience </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Target salary range: $95,000 - $105,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
