Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is looking to hire an accomplished Per Diem Urgent Care Physician (IM/FM) to join our team in Peekskill, NY. The Urgent Care Physician is responsible for managing a diverse patient panel with multiple co-morbidities in a busy Federally Qualified Health Center. Care is delivered in collaboration with advance practice providers, on-site support staff, with an emphasis on preventative health and quality patient care. Job Type: Per Diem Pay: $114.03 - $129.69 per hour Sign on Bonus: *** $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible External Applicants – Terms and Conditions Apply*** Essential duties and responsibilities for a Urgent Care Physician: Participate in in planning and developing health care services, treatment of conditions and illnesses within scope. Diagnose and provide treatment plans for patients. Collaborate and supervise advanced provider clinicians. Complete and participate in chart review process. Referral and follow-up of patients when needed. Collaborate with other members of the Health Center in order to maintain high quality standards and achieve client satisfaction. Clinical Supervision: Overseeing the clinical work of students or new providers, ensuring they adhere to best practices and organizational standards. Mentorship and Guidance: Providing mentorship and guidance to students or new providers, helping them develop their clinical skills and professional behavior. Educational Support: Facilitating educational sessions, workshops or seminars to enhance the learning experience of the mentees. Performance Evaluation: Assessing the performance of students or new providers, providing constructive feedback and documenting their progress. Patient Care: Ensuring high-quality patient care is maintained while supervising and mentoring students or new providers. Collaboration: Working closely with academic institutions and other healthcare professionals to coordinate the educational activities and ensure a comprehensive learning experience. Requirements: Doctorate Degree (MD, DO) Active/Valid license as a MD or DO in New York State, DEA, Board certification Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred) Experience in HIV care and MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) (preferred) Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient population in community health setting. Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>Sun River Health is looking to hire an accomplished Per Diem Urgent Care Physician (IM/FM) to join our team in Peekskill, NY.</b> The Urgent Care Physician is responsible for managing a diverse patient panel with multiple co-morbidities in a busy Federally Qualified Health Center. Care is delivered in collaboration with advance practice providers, on-site support staff, with an emphasis on preventative health and quality patient care.</p>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:1em 0px 0px; padding:0px\">\n <p>Job Type: Per Diem</p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:1em 0px 0px; padding:0px\">\n <p>Pay: $114.03 - $129.69 per hour&nbsp;</p>\n <p>Sign on Bonus: <b>*** $5,000</b> <b>Sign-On Bonus for Eligible External Applicants – Terms and Conditions Apply***</b></p>\n</div>\n<p>Essential duties and responsibilities for a Urgent Care Physician:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in in planning and developing health care services, treatment of conditions and illnesses within scope.</li>\n <li>Diagnose and provide treatment plans for patients.</li>\n <li>Collaborate and supervise advanced provider clinicians.</li>\n <li>Complete and participate in chart review process.</li>\n <li>Referral and follow-up of patients when needed.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other members of the Health Center in order to maintain high quality standards and achieve client satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Clinical Supervision: Overseeing the clinical work of students or new providers, ensuring they adhere to best practices and organizational standards.</li>\n <li>Mentorship and Guidance: Providing mentorship and guidance to students or new providers, helping them develop their clinical skills and professional behavior.</li>\n <li>Educational Support: Facilitating educational sessions, workshops or seminars to enhance the learning experience of the mentees.</li>\n <li>Performance Evaluation: Assessing the performance of students or new providers, providing constructive feedback and documenting their progress.</li>\n <li>Patient Care: Ensuring high-quality patient care is maintained while supervising and mentoring students or new providers.</li>\n <li>Collaboration: Working closely with academic institutions and other healthcare professionals to coordinate the educational activities and ensure a comprehensive learning experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)</li>\n <li>Active/Valid license as a MD or DO in New York State, DEA, Board certification</li>\n <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)</li>\n <li>Experience in HIV care and MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) (preferred)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient population in community health setting.</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n</div>\n<p><b>About Sun River Health</b></p>\n<p>Sun River Health has a rich history of providing quality, affordable health care to communities in need.
