Performs specimen preparatory functions.  Also provides clerical and technical support in Pathology.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>\n<li>Ability to understand and apply accurate procedures in specimen handling and clerical processing.</li>\n<li>Has good communication and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to provide accurate information and instructions.</li>\n<li>Has strong computer keyboarding skills.</li>\n<p>Preferred:<strong> </strong></p>\n<li>One (1) year experience as a Lab Technical Assistant in a clinical or pathology laboratory.</li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in the use and application of computers.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p>ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES PREFERRED FOR FLOW CYTOMETRY and MOLECULAR DIAGNOSTICS LABORATORIES only </p>\n<li>Two (2) year experience in specimen collections, specimen processing and specimen requisitioning for a clinical laboratory or health care delivery system </li>\n<li>Hold a two (2) year degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or a health related specialty.</li>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>3:00pm-11:30pm",
