This role provides architectural leadership, technical direction, and hands-on implementation expertise to ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performing MAS environment supporting NASA&rsquo;s Enterprise operations. The engineer will work closely with cross-organizational leadership, stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure consistent platform reliability and adherence to Enterprise integration standards.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Prepare and present project-related information to executive, leadership, and center</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">teams.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Lead installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting activities for</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">MAS.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Demonstrate advanced knowledge of IBM Maximo architecture, automation scripting,</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">and the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), including REST API integrations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Lead technical design of Enterprise integration architecture supporting NASA Enterprise</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">systems.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Lead implementation and configuration of secure API management and authentication</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">standards.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Define API messages, error handling, and monitoring strategies for integrations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Perform complex application configuration and develop automation scripts using Python,</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">XML, JavaScript, and JSON.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems and architecture.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Develop and maintain complex scripting for MAS configurations across multiple</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">environments, including Docker-based configurations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Configure and support Maximo Mobile, including SSO authentication implementations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Create application configurations in Maximo Mobile using the Maximo Application</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Framework (MAF) Configuration application to modify MAS configurations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Manage and support Maximo Application Suite user synchronization with Microsoft</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Entra ID.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Demonstrate working knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform within Enterprise Maximo deployments.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Perform data modeling to support Business Intelligence (BI) reporting needs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Possess hands-on experience with BIRT reporting and Microsoft Power BI.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Utilize Jira Service Management (or comparable ticketing systems) to manage and track</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">technical issues and service requests.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&bull; Minimum 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Demonstrated expertise in Maximo architecture, MIF, automation scripting, and API integrations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Advanced Linux experience, including scripting, system operations, and performance management.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Hands‑on experience with MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Strong understanding of OpenShift, containerization, and enterprise MAS deployments.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Working knowledge of Maximo Mobile, SSO solutions, and MAF configuration.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Experience developing automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull;
