(CRCFO) is seeking an experienced Fractional and/or Interim Controller to join our growing team supporting clients in the credit union industry.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a part-time, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REMOTE</span> position (0–30 hours per week). The role may be structured as ongoing fractional support or as an interim engagement, depending on client needs and candidate availability.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are looking for a seasoned financial professional with 10+ years of experience as a Controller, ideally within a credit union or banking environment, who can provide strategic leadership and hands-on financial oversight to our clients.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role:</span><br>Working as an embedded member of our client’s organization, you will serve as the primary accounting leader—the “go-to” Controller for both staff and executive leadership. You will oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and NCUA regulations while supporting the credit union’s operational and strategic objectives.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead all accounting operations in support of executive management</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">GAAP</span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NCUA</span>, and other regulatory reporting requirements</li>\n<li>Coordinate annual financial audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors</li>\n<li>Implement and maintain effective accounting and internal control frameworks</li>\n<li>Manage internal control audits and risk assessments</li>\n<li>Analyze and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results</li>\n<li>Prepare materials and presentations for management and board meetings</li>\n<li>Oversee treasury management, liquidity, and cash flow forecasting</li>\n<li>Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CPA</span> strongly preferred</li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in senior finance or controller roles</li>\n<li>Prior credit union or banking experience required</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of ERP systems and experience with conversions or implementations</li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills</li>\n<li>Client-service focus with the ability to build trusted partnerships</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Charles River CFO, Inc.</span><br>Since 2003, Charles River CFO, Inc. has been a trusted provider of Fractional, Interim, and Outsourced Financial Leadership services.
