    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Software Developer 3 to support a major national laboratory. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized environments using Red Hat OpenShift </li>\n <li>Install, configure, and support Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC) software </li>\n <li>Integrate CMC components within OpenShift-based infrastructure </li>\n <li>Perform system tuning, patching, upgrades, and operational support </li>\n <li>Troubleshoot deployment, configuration, and runtime issues across the stack </li>\n <li>Collaborate with technical teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance </li>\n <li>Mentor Laboratory staff on OpenShift operations, including best practices for deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting (“care and feeding” of container platforms) </li>\n <li>Develop and maintain clear technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience</li>\n <li>In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable</li>\n <li>U.S. Citizenship is required per contract.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (deployment, administration, and operations) </li>\n <li>Proven experience installing and configuring Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC) software </li>\n <li>Strong understanding of containerization, Kubernetes concepts, and platform operations </li>\n <li>Experience with Linux system administration Ability to work independently in a remote environment </li>\n <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively mentor and transfer knowledge </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience using OpenShift and Strategy CMC together in a production environment </li>\n <li>Prior work in DOE, federal, or other government-regulated environments </li>\n <li>Familiarity with security, compliance, and configuration management requirements in regulated systems </li>\n <li>Current or prior security clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Us: </strong></p>\n<p>Edgewater Federal Solutions is a privately held government contracting firm located in Frederick, MD.
