Our commitment to providing exceptional care, despite any challenges, goes beyond just a job; it’s a calling that drives us forward every day.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Overview</b></p><p></p><p><span>The</span> <span>Lactation</span> Clinic <span>Coordinator</span> is responsible for <span>the</span> <span>overall</span> coordination <span>of</span> the <span>Lactation</span> Services throughout LA and OC.<span> The Coordinator </span>supervises and monitors <span>the</span> Lactation Clinic referrals, updates and manages <span>client</span> <span>files</span> through the <span>use</span> <span>of</span> electronic medical records, develops <span>of</span> lactation clinic schedule, and provides lactation classes.<span> Other r</span>esponsibilities <span>include</span> tracking and <span>monitoring</span> patient <span>progress</span> and ensuring that data <span>collection</span> and reporting <span>processes</span> are accurate and valid. Lastly, the Coordinator manages and tracks <span>the</span> referral <span>of</span> clients to <span>necessary</span> <span>support</span> services <span>in</span> <span>the</span> community.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Minimum Requirements</span></b></p><ul><li><p>High <span>School</span> <span>diploma</span> required. <span>Bachelor’s</span> <span>Degree</span> in Social Work, <span>Community</span> Programming, Health Administration, Business, and <span>other</span> health-related <span>fields</span> <span>preferred.</span></p></li><li><p>A Medical Assistant <span>certificate</span> <span>from</span> an accredited <span>school</span> is <span>preferred.                                                                                                                                </span></p></li><li><p><span>Certified Lactation Educator preferred.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Previous</span> experience working with women’s health and <span>working</span> <span>with</span> low-income<span>,</span> at-risk populations is preferred.   </p></li><li><p>A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.                              </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compensation</b></p><p></p>$26.91 - $33.53 hourly<p></p><p><b><span>Compensation Disclaimer</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
