In our Cognitive Intelligence Solutions Directorate we are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead research and development programs on behalf of our DoW customers. This individual will manage a large technically diverse team, fostering customer relationships, overseeing financials, cost, and schedule for a variety of projects and contracts. This position requires a leader with a proven track record of providing their staff growth opportunities by identifying, capturing, and winning new contract work in addition to on-contract growth to expand their portfolio and diversify our customer base.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Establish and maintain effective customer relationships with a variety of stakeholders</li>\n <li>Supervise and mentor a large, technically diverse team</li>\n <li>Execute independently program management duties that include, but are not limited to, managing day-to-day operations, maintaining work plans and timelines, tracking and projecting program spending, preparing status reports/briefs, and ensuring program status is communicated to all stakeholders</li>\n <li>Work closely with the customer, cross-functional teams, and assigned engineers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget, and schedule</li>\n <li>Collaborate with government customers, contractor partners, and technical leads to develop long-term strategies and prioritize near-term tasking</li>\n <li>Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with government and contract mission partners across the Department of War (DoW)</li>\n <li>Manage subcontracting, consulting, and procurement activities for assigned programs</li>\n <li>Assess program issues and develop resolutions to meet schedule, quality, and customer goals</li>\n <li>Identify and capture new growth opportunities to expand business portfolio</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active TS/SCI</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business/Management/Entrepreneurship, or related fields</li>\n <li>12+ years total years experience and a Bachelors degree (5+ years of relevant experience with the Department of War and 5+ years of program management experience and 3+ years of experience managing a technically diverse team)</li>\n <li>Prior program management experience with a DoW contractor required</li>\n <li>Proven track record of identifying, capturing, and solidifying new work along with on-contract growth opportunities</li>\n <li> Experience managing financials across a variety of projects and contracts</li>\n <li>Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and procurement activities</li>\n <li>Experience in Proposal Development </li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience creating and presenting reports, briefings, and program related information to a variety of government and internal stakeholders</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Agentic AI models and frameworks</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Global Comp</h2>$120,400 - $200,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.\n<h2>Closing Statement</h2>  Riverside Research Institute is a not-for-profit, technology-oriented defense company, where service to our customers and support of our staff is our overall mission.
