The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication, and will be a self-motivated team player.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Starting Rate at $30.25 per hour plus shift differential, monthly bonus, medical begins on day one, many other benefits. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diagnose and repair electrical equipment and components such as motors, drives, relays, starters, and other related electrical devices for industrial equipment.</li>\n <li>Provide technical support for all electrical process equipment.</li>\n <li>Perform all tasks and duties necessary for efficient start-ups, daily operation, change-over and shut-downs</li>\n <li>Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machines, electrical systems, heating, cooling and steam systems, material-handling equipment, plumbing, hydraulic/pneumatics equipment</li>\n <li>Perform maintenance tasks and tasks directed by plant supervision on all equipment </li>\n <li>Complete work orders as required</li>\n <li>Respond efficiently to maintenance calls on the production floor</li>\n <li>Assist in providing installation of new machinery</li>\n <li>Inventory spare parts and report usage; suggest re-order to maintenance lead</li>\n <li>Maintain neat and orderly work area, properly maintain tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Job Qualification Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li>\n <li>4+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment</li>\n <li>Current working knowledge of 480V, 3-phase electricity</li>\n <li>Experience with programmable controllers (PLC’s) and Honeywell process controls</li>\n <li>Experience in troubleshooting and reading electrical/mechanical schematics</li>\n <li>Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems and ability and knowledge of gauges and measurements</li>\n <li>Machining, welding, fabrication and millwright experience is a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate with production operators and other maintenance technicians to be able to explain mechanical processes and root causes</li>\n <li>Strong focus on safety and quality</li>\n <li>Must be a self-starter and maintain a positive attitude</li>\n <li>Ability to work with little or no supervision</li>\n <li>Interpersonal skills that demonstrate teamwork</li>\n <li>Good problem-solving abilities and result-oriented</li>\n <li>Lead by examples always (no safety violations, use proper PPE, show up to work on time)</li>\n <li>Must follow and abide by Company policies</li>\n <li>Must maintain good attendance </li>\n <li>Must be able to become certified in fork-lift, scissor-lift, and other material handling equipment </li>\n <li>Availability to work overtime and during off-shift hours as needed</li>\n <li>Availability to be called-in for emergencies as needed</li>\n <li>This position requires use of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)</li>\n <li>Individual must be a Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) (22 CFR §120.15.)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to walk, bend, pull and push without assistance (example: brace, cane) </li>\n <li>Capable of walking and standing for up to twelve (12) hours per day</li>\n <li>Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment</li>\n <li>Frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel material </li>\n <li>Constant use of hand/fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel or handle and manipulate parts and tools </li>\n <li>Constant requirement of specific vision abilities including close vision, distant vision, depth perception</li>\n <li>Constantly wear appropriate PPE including but not limited to eye and foot protection</li>\n <li>Ability to work in extreme temperatures, and around machinery and chemicals</li>\n <li>Ability to lift to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques and Company-provided equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This job description does not state or imply that all duties to be performed are specifically identified above.
