The Machine Operator will act in a manner that is consistent with Gordon Aluminum’s Customer 1st Philosophy.</p><p><br></p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;</p><p>This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>The general purpose of the Machine Operator is to operate machines to perform one or more machine functions on metal work pieces.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Maintaining safe work habits and a work area abiding by all safety policies</li><li>Lift and load work pieces into the machine</li><li>Takes the first part to QC Lab for first piece inspection approval (Must be able to operate Portage Table) or get assistants from Quality Tech</li><li>Sets approved first piece at the machine center for reference until job is completed</li><li>Checks all the dimensions and Process notes specified on the In-Process Inspection Report (Deburring countersink, or other minor operations to finish the piece)</li><li>Performs final piece count, print tag and enter production in Shop-Trak when the order is done</li><li>Performs required cleaning of machine and area</li><li>Performs any and all other duties assigned by management</li></ul><p><br></p>",

The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
