    "description": "<p><strong>JOB OPPORTUNITY with </strong><strong>Glenview Park District:</strong><br />\n<strong>Tennis Professional (Part-Time)</strong><br />\n<br />\n<strong><em>“Recreate” a better life with a career in the field of Parks &amp; Recreation!”</em></strong><br />\n <br />\n<strong>ABOUT US</strong><br />\nThe Glenview Tennis Club, part of the Glenview Park District, is a year round, eight-court indoor tennis facility located on Chicago’s North Shore.  In addition to our adult and junior programs, we have a Championship Training Academy which serves some of Chicagoland’s top ranked juniors.<br />\n <br />\n<strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Provide beginning to advanced instruction (private and group) in a professional manner</li>\n\t<li>Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers</li>\n\t<li>Expected to work a varied schedule including some evenings and weekends as needed</li>\n\t<li>Other administrative as assigned by the Supervisory staff</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><br />\n<strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>USPTA or PTR certification or minimum 2 years of experience preferred</li>\n\t<li>NTRP rating of 4.0 and/or college playing experience</li>\n\t<li>10 and Under tennis experience</li>\n\t<li>Must hold or obtain within 60 days, CPR/AED and other certifications (provided by the Glenview Park District)</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><br />\n<strong>SCHEDULING &amp; PAY</strong><br />\nThis is a <strong>year-round</strong> part-time position; <u>no seasonal applicants, please.</u></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>$20-$38 per hour for group lessons depending on qualifications</li>\n\t<li>$40+ per hour for private lessons</li>\n\t<li>Additional hourly pay for administrative duties</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><br />\n<strong>BENEFITS</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Complimentary Park Center Health and Fitness Membership, Outdoor and Indoor Pool Membership, Dog Park and Ice Center Membership</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><br />\nThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
