    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n <div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n  <div>\n   <div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n    <div>\n     <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong><br>\n       A Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and coaching a group of hourly associates in overseeing maintenance of distribution facilities, including conveyor, sortation, and other equipment repairs and maintenance within a state-of-the-art, high-technology distribution center. &nbsp;As well responsible for supporting the transition to \"omni-channel\" fulfillment processing.<br>\n       &nbsp;<br><strong>REPORTS TO:</strong> Senior Manager, Maintenance<br><strong>SUPERVISES:</strong> Technicians levels of 1 through 4<br>\n       &nbsp;<br><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n     <ul>\n      <li>Ensure customer service, quality, and safety standards are met in an efficient and innovative manner; partner with all departments to address issues, where needed</li>\n      <li>Direct preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyor and material handling equipment, electrical diagnosis and repair, facility maintenance and repair, and general construction</li>\n      <li>Monitor execution and reporting of approved preventative maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) programs for all equipment in the distribution facility, (including yard tractor equipment)</li>\n      <li>Maintain centralized organization of all mechanical and building drawings, equipment inventory, work order history and supplier/contractor contact listings</li>\n      <li>Partner with facilities department to assure proper electrical, structural, and mechanical issues are addressed when creating, repairing, or replacing any property related to the distribution facility</li>\n      <li>Ensure Maintenance and Operations team partner for best practices across distribution facilities</li>\n      <li>File maintenance and centralized organization of all mechanical and building drawings, equipment inventory, work order history, and supplier/contractor contact listings</li>\n      <li>Coordinate contractor work on-site to avoid interruption of facility operations and to remain within the constraints of DC needs and security</li>\n      <li>Ensure Maintenance team acts as active participant in safety program development and committees</li>\n      <li>Coach, develop, and train Maintenance team to facilitate performance of maintenance duties; keep the distribution facility clean, safe and operational at all times</li>\n      <li>Develop structured training programs for team to gain working knowledge of PLC controls, forklift repairs/maintenance, Dematic put-to-light controls systems and general electrical work</li>\n      <li>Promote and maintain high employee morale and safety, and counsel employees for unacceptable performance/attendance</li>\n      <li>Provide training on aerial platform equipment (scissor and boom lifts)</li>\n      <li>Partner with planning team to develop weekly maintenance PM and PdM tasks and schedules</li>\n      <li>Oversee and enforce good record-keeping practices in MVP Plant in accordance with SOPs</li>\n      <li>Measure and analyze key performance indicators to improve established processes and procedures</li>\n      <li>Frequently inspect facilities to proactively detect potential problems and recommend the necessary repair or maintenance</li>\n      <li>Work effectively with DC supervisors and managers to develop and maintain a positive employee relations environment</li>\n      <li>Provide input in the development of maintenance budget, monitor spending, and report on operating costs within functional areas</li>\n      <li>Administer company policies and procedures</li>\n      <li>Additional &nbsp;duties as assigned</li>\n      <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n     </ul>\n     <p><strong>Learning &amp; strive for continuous improvements in all areas.</li>\n      <li>Maintain a passion for winning!</li>\n     </ul>\n     <p><strong>AUTHORITY:</strong></p>\n     <ul>\n      <li>Performance management and hiring of associates</li>\n      <li>Dictate destination of workflow and human resources</li>\n      <li>Prepare and present associate reviews</li>\n      <li>Accident investigation and recommendation for corrective action</li>\n      <li>Oversee corrective actions on performance of outside contractors</li>\n      <li>Research sources and purchase electrical equipment and parts to support business needs and growth</li>\n     </ul>\n     <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n     <ul>\n      <li>2 years Previous Supervisor/Management experience in a warehouse/distribution/retail environment or equivalent; .com and/or \"Omni-channel\" retailing</li>\n      <li>Minimum 5 or more years of previous maintenance experience&nbsp;</li>\n      <li>Strong mechanical trade knowledge and experience&nbsp;</li>\n      <li>Strong working knowledge and experience with electrical systems</li>\n      <li>Strong knowledge and experience working with communication systems</li>\n      <li>Knowledge of lean concepts and methodology</li>\n      <li>Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience a plus&nbsp;</li>\n      <li>Knowledge forklift and battery repair and maintenance, and preventative maintenance preferred</li>\n      <li>Proficient in Google suite, gmail &amp;
