In this role, you will build relationships with attorneys and lateral partners, connect top talent with excellent opportunities at the firm, and contribute significantly to shaping the firm&#39;s future throughout Florida.</p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><p><strong>Strategic Talent Acquisition</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develop and implement the firm&rsquo;s short-and long-term recruiting strategy for lateral partners and associates.</li><li>Partner with firm leadership to assess current and future hiring needs aligned with practice group and business development strategies.</li><li>Track industry trends and provide strategic insight on market shifts, compensation benchmarks, and competitor movements.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with occasional travel required, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Attorney Recruitment</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Oversee the complete lifecycle recruitment process for all levels of legal talent, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer negotiations, and onboarding.</li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to align hiring needs with business goals and team dynamics.</li><li>Cultivate and maintain relationships with legal search firms, law schools, and professional organizations.</li><li>Lead lateral partner and associate recruiting efforts with a focus on identifying candidates who align with the firm&#39;s values, practices, growth, and client needs.</li></ul><p><strong>Campus &amp; Summer Associate Programs</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Manage campus recruiting and summer associate programs, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent.</li><li>Coordinate with law school career services, organize on-campus interviews (OCI), and manage the candidate evaluation and selection process.</li><li>Oversee the design and execution of summer programs, including assignments, evaluations, and events.</li></ul><p><strong>Leadership &amp; Team Management</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Supervise a team; mentor, train, and develop members to achieve high performance.</li><li>Establish and track KPIs and metrics to measure recruiting effectiveness and optimize processes.</li><li>Ensure inclusive hiring practices and candidate experiences.</li><li>Strong people skills and enjoy networking and building connections.</li><li>Self-motivated and organized.</li></ul><p><strong>Technology&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Evaluate and implement recruiting best practices and technology tools.</li><li>Continuously improve recruiting process, workflows, and candidate experience.</li><li>High proficiency in ViDesktop, Leopard Solutions, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience as a legal recruiter inside (within a law firm) and outside (legal recruitment agency) of a law firm, preferred. &nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of 5-10 years of recruiting experience.</li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree required, JD or advanced degree a plus.</li><li>Deep understanding of the legal market, law firm structure, and attorney career paths.</li><li>Proven experience managing high-level lateral partner and associate recruitment.</li><li>Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage confidential information with discretion.</li></ul><p><em>Competitive salary and benefit package.</em></p><p><em>Shutts &amp; Bowen is an equal opportunity employer.</em></p></div></div>\n",
