          "text": "<p><strong>Senior Environmental/Civil Design Engineer </strong></p><p>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. No sponsorship is available for this position.</p><p></p><p>We invite you to bring your Civil and Environmental Engineering Design into play as you be leading design teams and assisting the Project Manager in management of the life cycle (proposal-initiation-execution/control-closeout) of civil infrastructure and environmental remediation design projects. To succeed in this role you must have Bachelor’s Degree (Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred) and 10+ years relevant experience and be a Licensed Professional Engineer . Project Engineer you will be part of  a team developing project proposals, providing technical oversight and leadership of design development tasks, including management of project and task scope, schedule, and budget.</p><p></p><p>Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:</p><ul><li>Participate in project costing, proposal preparation, and client presentations</li><li> Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, geologic data and other data to plan projects</li><li> Prepare or present reports, analyses including design calculations, field data results, conclusions and cost estimates </li><li> Plan, design and prepare, or direct preparation of high quality construction drawings and specifications of varied complexities in compliance with construction and government standards, using AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS</li><li> Provide technical guidance to other engineers including review of reports, design drawings, and specifications</li><li> Technical review of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling analyses performed using software such as XP SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis</li><li> Coordinate and work collaboratively with project teams in meeting project objectives – technical scope, project/task budget, and deliverable schedules</li><li> Consistently utilize sound judgment and discretion in performance of job functions. </li><li> Gather and record information to be used for writing specifications </li><li> Participate actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite</li><li> Adhere to the policies and standards set forth in the Firm’s Quality Management System </li><li> Assist Project Managers to define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences, and develop schedules, budgets, and staffing requirements </li><li> Work with the Project Manager to form a project work team and see that responsibilities are assigned and execution of tasks are begun and completed according to schedule </li><li> Maintain a continuing business relationship with clients as part of ongoing business development efforts </li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Your starting point for constant growth</strong></p><p>From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree (Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred) and 10+ years relevant experience. MS Degree a plus</li><li> Licensed Professional Engineer </li><li> Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D design tools (<i> e.g.,</i> surfaces, earthwork calculations, pipe design)</li><li> Proficiency with performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling analyses, including the use of technical software</li><li> OSHA 40-hour training and up to date 8-hour refresher; or ability to obtain </li><li> Requires good interpersonal, verbal and written communication, motivation, team building, employee involvement/mentoring, diplomacy, and delegating skills </li><li> Willingness and desire to continue to improve and advance technical competencies </li><li> Working knowledge of project life-cycle delivery to include planning, design, estimating, construction </li></ul><p></p><p>Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: Demonstrated proficiency in engineering fundamentals through previous leadership in design development, technical paper authorship, or technical presentation delivery at trade conferences  Work effectively in teams  </p><p></p><p><strong>Welcome to our Environment &amp; Health division</strong></p><p>Ramboll develops innovative, scientifically sound solutions that help increase liveability by reducing pollution and restoring natural environments.
