Job Title: Associate National Equipment Specialist Location: Remote Comp: $27-32/hour Travel: Travel expectation is 80-100%. A typical work week includes traveling to site Monday and returning home Friday end of day; intermittently, some weekend work may be required. Responsibilities Equipment commissioning and customer training for Kurita America water systems. Perform routine maintenance for Kurita equipment and equipment manufactured by others. Troubleshoot and repair customer water systems and equipment. Make technical recommendations to customers to improve system performance. Complete all required reports and records in timeframes and formats determined by Kurita America. Customer Service - Build relationships with both external and internal customers, providing both on-site and telephone support. Collaborate with project team, colleagues, and management to resolve or escalate problems. Ensure site work is carried out in the required order for completion by the required timeline. Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Qualifications Ability to travel via airplane and automobile, being away from home 5 days a week. High School Diploma or GED required - associate degree in a technical field or equivalent is preferred. Technical and mechanical aptitude required. 1-2 years “Hands-on” experience with Electro-Mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, AC/DC motor controls, PLC’s, VFD’s, and Pump Systems is preferred. Must maintain valid driver’s license and passport for travel to Canada. Physical and Mental requirements: Being able to do the following in a safe and effective manner. Climb, ascend, and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Stand and walk for sustained periods of time. Push, pull, lift, bend, and stoop for sustained periods of time. Use upper extremities to move objects and equipment with steady force.
