Position Overview This Aerospace Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting production activities through the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components using a variety of tools, equipment, and machinery. The role includes completing production documentation, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and contributing to overall shop operations while upholding the high standards of the Alpine Aerotech brand. As an Aerospace Manufacturing Technician, your craftsmanship and attention to detail help transform raw materials into precision components that meet the demanding standards of the aviation industry. The quality of your work directly supports Alpine Aerotech's reputation for excellence and helps keep aircraft flying safely across the globe. How You’ll Make an Impact Fabricate and assemble precision sheet metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and company standards. Perform manufacturing processes including deburring, drilling, CNC and cold forming, riveting, dimpling, resistance welding, grinding, sanding, and blasting. Operate a variety of production equipment and machinery, including press brakes, riveter/dimplers, resistance welders, pneumatic hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment. Inspect completed work to ensure components meet quality, dimensional, and workmanship requirements. Complete production documentation, labour tracking, inventory transactions, and work order requirements accurately and efficiently. Support manufacturing, production, and shop-related activities while contributing to team productivity and operational goals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment that supports operational excellence and workplace safety. Follow safe work practices, company procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and manufacturing performance. Uphold the professionalism, craftsmanship, and quality standards that define the Alpine Aerotech brand. What You’ll Bring to our Team Grade 12 diploma or equivalent. Previous manufacturing, fabrication, sheet metal, mechanical, aerospace, or production experience is considered an asset. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate tools, machinery, and production equipment. Ability to read and follow technical instructions, work orders, and manufacturing documentation. Valid driver's licence. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to manage competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
