Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office. </strong></p>\n<p>In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Lead groundbreaking bridge projects</strong> that define the future of transportation.</li>\n <li><strong>Tackle complex engineering challenges</strong> with creativity and precision.</li>\n <li><strong>Make a real difference</strong> by designing infrastructure that connects and strengthens communities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you're driven by purpose, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are excited to push the boundaries of what's possible in bridge engineering, we invite you to join us.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the planning, administration, and design of structural bridge projects, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards.</li>\n <li>Conduct detailed structural analysis, seismic analysis, and design for various bridge projects.</li>\n <li>Develop and review engineering calculations for reinforced and prestressed concrete, steel structures, and other materials.</li>\n <li>Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, plans, specifications, and estimates.</li>\n <li>Utilize engineering software packages such as Midas Civil, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, L-Pile, LEAP Bridge Steel, and MathCAD for project delivery.</li>\n <li>Ensure timely delivery of PS&E contract documents, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across various geographic locations.</li>\n <li>Conduct quality control and assurance activities to maintain high standards in project execution.</li>\n <li>Apply advanced seismic design principles and non-linear analysis techniques to bridge projects.</li>\n <li>Develop quantities and cost estimates, ensuring projects stay within budget.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with CADD technicians to develop detailed bridge plans and specifications.</li>\n <li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, code requirements, and client objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering </li>\n <li>A Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon and/or Washington, or be able to obtain within 6-12 months after starting. </li>\n <li>Structural Engineer (SE) certification is a plus</li>\n <li>5-10 years of experience as a bridge engineer, including design, plan preparation, structural analysis, seismic analysis and design, quantity calculation, and construction support services.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with MicroStation (ORD a plus) and Civil3D.</li>\n <li>Experience with ODOT and WSDOT projects is a plus.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing tasks, projects, and professional staff.</li>\n <li>Proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with engineering software packages such as Midas Civil, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, L-Pile, LEAP Bridge Steel, and MathCAD is a plus.</li>\n <li>Advanced understanding of seismic design principles and non-linear analysis techniques.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of structural behavior and mechanics of materials.</li>\n <li>Ability to independently and accurately complete engineering calculations for reinforced and prestressed concrete and steel structures; familiarity with timber and masonry design is a plus.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications (including MS Project).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The pay range for this position in Washington is $130,000 to $160,000 per year. The base pay offered may be higher or lower, depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>All local employment laws apply.
