The Counter Sales Representative will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their automotive parts needs, and driving sales at our counter. This role requires strong product knowledge, sales skills, and a passion for automobiles.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists customers in determining and selecting appropriate parts. Provides price quotes and other parts information.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Informs customers of specials and companion part requirements, ensuring that the customer is exposed to the full product line.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Represents branch in a professional manner, remaining friendly and courteous in all customer and coworker interactions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Fills parts orders from stock.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or other department materials that require immediate attention. Locates out-of-stock parts from external sources and submits emergency orders, as necessary.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Notifies customers of receipt of special order parts. Informs customers of parts order arrival and delivery date.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Verifies will-call and back orders weekly and returns to vendors. Follows up on back orders.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides customers with their copy of invoices. Receives payment for retail purchases. Obtains credit authorizations or required signatures for charge sales.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Issues credits for returned parts after verifying purchase and pricing by reviewing original invoice.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participates in annual physical inventory.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists Branch Manager with maintaining lost sales tracking program.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Keeps work area clean and free of clutter.
