FLINT Energy Services LP is a leading provider of advanced fabrication and corrosion/abrasion-resistant weld overlay and cladding solutions serving the oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, and energy sectors. Our expertise includes engineered fabrication, alloy weld overlay, and high‑performance cladding solutions that enhance durability and reliability in severe service environments. Utilizing CRA, CCO, and a variety of base material combinations, we help extend the life of critical assets. We are seeking a highly experienced Independent Sales Representative (Independent Contractor) with an established network in the r efining and petrochemical market, specifically in the Mid to Eastern Canada areas . The ideal candidate brings deep technical sales experience in fabrication and weld overlay/cladding solutions , along with strong existing relationships with refinery clients, EPCs, and maintenance organizations . This is a results-driven role focused on expanding market share, developing new opportunities, and leveraging existing client relationships. The successful contractor will be responsible for assessing market requirements for both current and future services, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales by building and maintaining strong client relationships. Regular travel to client sites across Eastern Canada maybe required. What would you be doing? Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting oil & gas refiners and petrochemical facilities Ensure that FLINT’s Asset Armor products and services are effectively positioned and communicated in the market.   Leverage existing relationships to generate immediate opportunities and revenue Identify and pursue new business opportunities for: Corrosion-resistant weld overlay (CRA) Abrasion-resistant overlay solutions Pressure vessel and piping fabrication Field service and repair solutions/options Smaller Pressure Vessel Fabrications Maintain and grow relationships with: Refinery maintenance and reliability teams Turnaround (TA) planners Procurement and engineering groups EPC contractors Provide technical consultation to clients on material selection and overlay/cladding solutions Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to develop proposals and solutions Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award Meet or exceed agreed revenue and margin targets Represent FLINT at industry associations, meetings, and events. Minimum 7–10+ years of technical sales experience in one or more of the following: Weld overlay / cladding solutions Pressure vessel or piping fabrication Specialty alloys / CRA materials Proven track record selling into oil & gas refining and petrochemical clients Established client base and relationships in the Eastern Canda / Chicago / Midwest or Pennsylvania / Northeast regions Strong understanding of: Corrosion and erosion mechanisms in refining environments Materials such as Inconel, stainless steels, and other CRA alloys ASME fabrication and repair standards Demonstrated ability to generate revenue quickly through existing network Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-drive Compensation Structure: Contract / Commission-based role Highly competitive commission structure based on revenue & margin Potential for long-term partnership and expanded territory Offers of employment are conditional on the successful outcome of a criminal background check.
