If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.&#160;</p><p>Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Federal customers with solutions in many arenas. Our customers face wide-ranging challenges in the fields of national security, health care, and information technology. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers&#8217; success as if it is their own.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide direct patient care 100% of the time in the ED</li><li>Evaluate, treat, and manage a wide range of emergent conditions including:<ul><li>Trauma, cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, psychiatric, OB/GYN, GI, endocrine, infectious, and musculoskeletal emergencies</li></ul></li><li>Perform minor and major procedures (e.g., suturing, intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion)</li><li>Stabilize and transfer patients requiring higher levels of care</li><li>Review inpatient admissions and consults</li><li>Apply orthopedic devices and manage medications per VA policy</li><li>Provide discharge education and coordinate follow-up care</li><li>Initiate social work referrals for homeless or high-risk patients</li><li>Attend staff meetings (monthly, if shift coincides)</li><li>Participate in quality improvement activities</li><li>Complete documentation in VA&#8217;s EHR system (CPRS)</li><li>Ensure timely completion of progress notes and coding</li><li>Report patient safety incidents within 24 hours</li><li>Maintain compliance with HIPAA and VA privacy standards</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (preferred) or Board Certification or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.</li><li>Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State or Territory</li><li>Current DEA license</li><li>Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS</li><li>Must be able to pass a Federal background investigation (National Agency Check with Written Inquiries)</li><li>No sponsorship available&#160;</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>All candidates must be able to:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift</li>\n\t<li>Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist</li>\n\t<li>Lift up to 20 lbs</li>\n\t<li>Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance</li>\n\t<li>Push/pull with 30 lbs of force</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. </strong></p>",
