Click to learn more about GTC.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>\n<p>· Assist technicians and other internal customers with selection of required parts to complete customer repairs.</p>\n<p>· Accurately process orders in the system and coordinate pulling product, shipment or delivery to the technician, shop manager or service account manager.</p>\n<p>· All aspects of parts department functions including cycle counting, inventory & freight management.</p>\n<p>· Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.</p>\n<p>· Follows up on back-ordered parts.</p>\n<p>· Locate available parts when the dealership is out of stock and issue purchase orders for those parts.</p>\n<p>· Use and operate a computer and multiple computer programs.</p>\n<p>· Provide price quotes, availability and other information to technicians and shop manager or service account manager.</p>\n<p>· General knowledge on warranty periods and guidelines.</p>\n<p>· Process manufacturers core returns.</p>\n<p>· Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information when time permits.</p>\n<p>· Keeps counter areas clean and uncluttered.</p>\n<p>· Inclusion in a rotation for after-hours phone calls for emergency parts.</p>\n<p>· Keeps current on new products and product updates.</p>\n<p>· May be requested to cover duties at parts front counter if scheduling needs require.</p>\n<p>· Other duties as assigned as business needs require.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Education</strong>: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. </p>\n<p><strong>Other</strong>: Must be able to operate a computer. Fork-lift certification will be required after hire. </p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong>: 2-3 years warehouse experience preferred, previous customer service experience preferred.</p>\n<p><strong>Skills</strong>: Must be professional and safety minded at all times. Good communication skills. Good customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work with minimal supervision and direction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Conditions</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical: </strong>(These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.) Requires regular lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to and exceeding 75 pounds. Climbing, stretching, reaching, bending, squatting, walking, and some stairs. Must be able to operate motor vehicles such as forklifts.</p>\n<p><strong>Environmental: </strong>Indoors with occasional outdoor duties. Shop/warehouse environment with expected noise and odors.
