Our commitment to providing special care to our patients, excellent customer service to our clients, along with our convenient locations are just a few reasons why Nova Medical Centers is one of the most highly regarded Occupational Medicine companies.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Therapist Assistants with Nova Medical Centers enjoy:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Monday - Friday 9 am to 6 pm schedule with No Weekends and No On-Call!</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Competitive hourly rate + Monthly Bonus Opportunity </strong></li>\n <li><strong>Group medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance</strong></li>\n <li><strong>401K</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Paid Time Off</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Paid Holidays</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Clear career advancement opportunities</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>Provide physical therapy services as assigned and directed under the supervision of a physical therapist, concurrent with Nova Medical Centers’ physical therapy treatment philosophy.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clinical Duties</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Promotes professional milieu and demeanor while providing physical therapy services.</li>\n <li>Maintains a safe, clean and accommodated working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.</li>\n <li>Develops knowledge of evidence-based practice and demonstrates clinical knowledge of physical therapy services.</li>\n <li>Perform assigned responsibilities from supervising physical therapist that are consistent with safe, legal and ethical physical therapy practice.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Other Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.</li>\n <li>Coordinates with Supervising Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services as specified in the plan of care; respond to acute changes in physiological state; teach other health care providers, patients, and families to perform selected treatment procedures and functional activities.</li>\n <li>Meet with the Physical Therapy team members and/or other staff on a regular basis, including off-site to discuss quality of patient care, procedures, records, review of policies, attend training sessions, educational seminars and other issues as required.</li>\n <li>Promote, support and engage in projects, communications and activities which are designed to maintain, develop and/or improve overall teamwork within the center.</li>\n <li>Assist with developing and promoting clear communication between the Physical Therapy department and other center staff members.</li>\n <li>Document treatments and provide documentation per policy and procedure. Demonstrate the ability to exercise proper judgment.</li>\n <li>Partner with the Physical Therapy team to ensure center operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards at Nova Medical Centers.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Credentials</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program</p></li>\n <li><p>Current state licensure or the ability to obtain</p></li>\n <li><p>CPR certification or ability to obtain</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p>",
