TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinates the design process for renovation and construction projects at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH). </li>\n <li>Oversees and manages construction and/or remodeling projects for TMH properties.</li>\n <li> Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. </li>\n <li>Works with Plant Engineering (PE, department 8060) and the skilled trades to request and maintain permits, Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), and Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA). </li>\n <li>Assists with finances (including soliciting bids and reviewing invoices). </li>\n <li>Coordinates owner-direct purchasing. </li>\n <li>Ensures standards are maintained. </li>\n <li>Serves as a system administrator for building plans (including the workflow associated with issuing and tracking plans under revision).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports To:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ast Dir/Plans and Construction (JC: 120001)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.\n  <ul>\n   <li> Human Resources (HR) may substitute applicable, relevant job experience on a 1-year:1-year basis for the required education, in addition to the minimum required experience below.<strong> </strong><strong> </strong></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Five (5) years of design, construction, and/or maintenance experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in a health care facilities construction role.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
