We currently have an opportunity for a Teacher Assistant to join our Bay Shore Facility. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>In this role, you will assist classroom staff with all classroom related duties and serve as an active facilitator of children&rsquo;s educational and behavioral goals by role modeling and interacting with students as part of a trans-disciplinary team. You will provide educational intervention, under the direction of the special education teacher, to help each child reach their highest level of independence. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>In New York State-<strong>&nbsp;ALL TEACHER ASSISTANTS MUST BE CERTIFIED. &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><ul><li dir=\"auto\">High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li dir=\"auto\">New York State Teacher Assistant Certification required.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\">Minimum of one year experience working with children in a classroom or childcare environment.
